How to use UK mobile in Turkey
« on: May 31, 2007, 15:14:17 PM »
Oneroam works!

I first read about it on this Forum and so bought a OneRoam SIM back in the winter.  Last week I had the chance to try it out and it does what it says on the tin!

Calls where costing a fraction of what I was being charged through Orange/Virgin/O2 etc and my phone didn't get locked.

Only the person making the call gets charged ( ie outward bound calls charged against your OneRoam SIM at 27p/min and inward bound calls charged to the caller 27p/min).

You may find your phone needs unlocking first, but when you put the SIM in you get an additional menu.  From the menu select "CALL" and then enter the full international number (even if you are calling a Turkish mobile whilst in Turkey).  After a few seconds your phone rings and when you accept the call the phone you are calling rings.

www.oneroam.co.uk  (do not use the .com site, use the .co.uk site)
