Just a quick note to say Hi to all residents/owners in Deliktas.
We've just moved here and don't know anyone yet.

Not online as often as i'd like 'cos we're STILL waiting for phone line!!!

Happy so far - better if we had a market close by that sold cigs&beer, and of course when they finally do the roads (although i won't dwell on this issue since there are already a few threads about it !!!)

Hi chewyturk - I'm sure you have been to this market "Zeki Baba Market" - walk infront of Green Valley apartments and take the smaller road down - past the first shop (who incidentally I noticed has had a bit of a spruce up now that he has some competition). Turn right just after the shop and then turn left. Walk down and the shop is on your left. He sells beer in there along with everything else you need from a corner shop (not sure about ciggies). Glad you are happy there- good choice.

We are in Green Valley - just like Gorgeous Bird!
Welcome to the forum! We have had our place three years now - and we bought off plan and oh how we have seen the place change! All these apartments popping up everywhere - it is quite sad to see - but a new community is being formed I suppose - that's one way we can look at it!
Now there are the municipality houses on the hill - it is turning into a concrete heaven!
That's progress though I suppose!
We still love it there though - and it is our little place in the sun ......

hi chewyturk,this is amanda b.we have a place not far from zeki baba market.nice little shop,very clean.does a good deal on cheap taxi's from there.ask for tony.maybe meet up sometime with all the other nutters that live in deliktas.
