I have just received an email informing me that from May 1st, the maintenance of the small complex on which I own an apartment will be taken over by a different company. There are 12 apartment on the complex (3 of which were not sold last summer).
The new company intends to charge each apartment owner £30 a month for basic maintenance, an extra £5 a month for electricity & water bills.On top of this, they ask for £100 to be divided between the 12 apartments for the 1st pool fill up, cleaning at the beginning of the season.
I have not signed a contract with them or been consulted over the choice of the new company. Surely, as an owner I have a say regarding the choice of maintenance company.
