We bought our wooden loungers on the Calis to Fethiye road - there are a couple of shops there and you will see them lined up outside.  Quite expensive, but lovely and will last for years - you will be able to negotiate the price.

be careful of one of those shops on the fethiye-calis road. i forget the name but it's on the right-hand side as you head from fethiye to calis, probably half a mile or so on the fethiye side before 'Tansas'. If i recall correctly there is a bakery next door.
The reason? i stopped off there to buy a lounger, price 200 lira but very nice. I was on my motorbike, so i paid and said i would come back in 30 minutes for the lounger and walk home with it.
When i returned to collect the man came running out with a catalogue and said... 'sorry 260 lira'... he then showed me the catalogue and i couldn't help but burst out laughing, the printed price of 200 lira had been crudely tipp-ex'd out and 260 written in pen over the top, but with the original price still showing through..
yes, i did get my money back.

have found that you can shop around as there are a number of shops, many selling the same thing for a huge difference in price
