We are very informative and friendly  :)

The actual answer is no, without a large dish you can't get BBC & ITV. Unless you buy the vacant plot next to my house and I'll sling a cable over the fence for you :D

We are linked into a 3 meter dish & are using my Sky + box & card from UK.
You can only get the channels from the Astra 2 satelite so still no BBC or ITV.
We get about 70 channels and it does include most film channels & sports.
Does anybody know if the scheme that failed earlier this year has any chance of happening in the future?

Hi Nigel

You have the same set up as me, and I get BBC1 & ITV fine - sounds like you need a good guy to fine tune your alignment. Gary (CBF member Echostar) is that good guy.

I think the new TV scheme is absolutely dead and buried now.

Thanks Keith

does sound like you have a few problems Nigel or whos dish it is, mind you it does make a differance on the make co-ax cable used and lnb and the setting up etc of the whole system, there could be lots of reasons why it is not working. and the most common problem is people try to do it on the cheap. not any old 3 mtr dish will do the job
