I nominate Mr Changemoney for not giving the correct change and recently trying to rip me off for 8 lira after having changed some sterling.  However I went back into the shop because I was confused by what he initially said and after some yards down the road I stood counting my lira. I then realised he'd short changed me out of 8 lira. Had I realised this and not returned to his shop I would been have left 8 lira short and him laughing all the way to the bank.  

He's the guy in the clothes shop on the main fethiye road nearly opposite Zirat bank.  Yes ok Im stupid for going to him and he has, I have realised, been short changing me for years! Duuh

He still continues to pull the wool over the eyes of unspecting tourists in his shop who are lured in to change money because they think they are getting a better rate than the doviz and they are not.  :

changed money in this shop loads of times without a problem the secret is know the exchange rate and how much you expect in change before you go in,regards

I personally know of 4 members of my family have used him in the last 2 years and everyone has been short changed. Everytime I walk past now and he politely asks if we would like to change money I always ask him to "go forth and multiply"

This was covered on here a couple of weeks ago and I think several times before that. I just don't get it - how can he short change everyone ? We always use him as he gives a good rate and you don't have to queue. The exchange rate is on the board, he always has a calculator to hand, so I can only assume people don't check what they have been given which seems a bit daft to me.

I'll have to stick up for him again, never had a problem and neither have any of my family and we have used him regularly. There is a calculator there you can use and if you change in easy multiples ie £100 per time then surely you should know how much you are due to get in return. If you then count it out in front of him then what's the problem?

It's simple - just check your change, whatever the transaction!
