Tremendous Storm here in Fethiye this morning, very very high winds, lots of structural damage....... plastic tables and chairs flying about walls damaged and tiles off roofs. Lots of trees down and one set of water tanks near the Market had collapsed and taken the chimeney down as well. Also heard that a tree had come down in the market and that one of the village sellers had been killed. All followed by some heavy rain.

Brian - our neighbour reported same to all owners this morning at 7am this morning.

Talked about broken / damage to one water tank on our roof and pieces of corrugated roofing blowing into the pool!

Hope everything is all right with you both?

Ian  :)

You're ok Anne, fair ebough, i have a choice, but i live here, and i wont go out to see if i still have a roof, i only walked to the shop yesterday, i nearly had to swim back, but my leather jacket should dry out on tuesday, i believe we're going to have a sunny day, before it starts raining again.
