Flamingo bar and restaurant

Went to the opening of the Flamingo bar (formerly Yakamoz)last night.
The lasagne and spaghetti carbonara were delicious. Apparently, the chef trained the chef at Bella Mommas. They also do a nice selection of Steaks. The Mayor, Police chief and usual dignitaries attended. The wine flowed freely and the Cuban dance band gave a lively performance.
With the Turkish hospitality, Italian cuisine and Latin dance music, a good night was had by all. Good luck to Yetkin and his staff for the future and thanks for a great night. SnS.

That surprises me Hydeaway as I don't think I have had a bad steak in Calis! Obviously some restaurants are better than others,The Harem is one of our favourites. Maybe we have just been lucky  :)

That's not quite right.... the 'chef' that they have from Bella Mammas was a kitchen hand.. and certainly did not train the chef at Bella Mammas (or I should say the head chef that was at Bella Mammas.  ;)

Is this the same Yetkin who used to work with Keith? If so, does anyone now how I could make contact with him urgently - I need his help?

Have to agree with Badger re the Harem. Hubby keeps trying other restaurants in the hope of finding a good fillet steak but we always go back to the Harem and we always agree its the best for steak.
See you there in 6 weeks!!!
Didnt go in Bella Mammas last holiday (end April) as we ran out of time, but the steaks were just about as good, lets hope they still are.
