A friend of mine has just had a nilestat package installed for 480 ytl lots of channels plus sports at least 12 .adult channels 30ish quite a few fim ones but she is getting lots off frezzing and sign saying not running or scrambled anyway of getting rid of this like a booster cheers. ;)

if she has adult channels its not nilesat as there is no adult channels on there and as for the freezing an amp would not cure the problem

one thing i don't understand why you don't call them back to sort the problem out under Guarantee if any of my customers have a problem it is done free of charge thats if i supplied it

Hi Gary it is definitely Nile stat on TV it has sat channels Nile stat nil 101/102 ku hotbird ku and all stat think the last one is free view box plus she had to get new 1 new dish cheers. ;)

Depending what STB you have there will be "signal strength" and "signal quality" indicators in one of the installation menus.

If these are fluctuating wildly then your dish is most probably poorly aligned and the wind (even a light breeze) is causing it to move "off signal".
Get the man back to realign the dish.

Friends of mine have Nilestat and are very happy with it - the only problem they have is that they are unable to get rid if the arabic sub-titles .... Does anyone have a solution?
