hi i can not seem to work out the interest rate im getting at garanti bank they tell me im getting 11.75% but it never works out at that what is the best rate i can get? iv got a tax number and all that has anybody got any advice? thanks.

Hi 11.75 is the gross the net rate after tax is 9.98.

hi i rang garanti bank today and they offered me 10.75 has the interest rate droped again?also is there a better to way to get a better interes rate?thanks

The interest rate various at each bank, some offer a better introductory rate for the first month, the rate also depends on the amount you have in the account. If you email the Banker (Alper he will tell you Fortis rate)
 I have monitored rates over the last 2 years and have always got a better or equal rate at Fortis than the other banks I used.
I am biased though because Alper started as my account manager and is now a good friend.
