Short and sweet.Have witnessed loads of english owners allowing there dogs to S*#t everywhere around here.Cant speak for our Turkish friends, but you wouldnt allow it back home,so why not carry bags and clean up after dogs,Had a staff for a friend for 3 months here and carried a bag and scoop wherever we went.Job done.Unsightly,unhygienic,stinks.

I agree.  It's a display of ignorance not to clear up.

i agree but not in a plastic bag!!
i am surprised how little dog poo i see in the area considering the amount of dogs there are here!!
the mountains of fag ends and rubbish left on the beach by people and bars is more offensive to me than the odd bio degradeable dog poo!

Considering the horses, cows, sheep, goats, chickens and wild boar at night which roam the area I think a pooper scooper for a few dogs is not going to make a lot of difference. My Turkish neighbours have the answer they keep their dogs chained up all day in the garden and leave them to roam the area all night so no one sees what they get up to. There are also numerous stray dogs to add to the fun.  :)

I am also surprised how clean the area is. I think it is because the insect world are such good cleaner uppers!

The irony being that dog owners walk away from their own properties, so that their pets can deposit it outside your apartment (not so nice when you're sitting on your balcony and they do it right outside and leave it there!!!!  It would be nice if there was a little bit more thought. Great if you want to have a 'poo' hunt or did I mean bear hunt!

I agree, the farmers are so inconsiderate too. I have a herd of at least forty goats go past my house sometimes twice a day, horses are herded by to go for grazing and the chickens wander along outside too. Shall I hand them industrial size bags do you think?:D
