Electric- Happy Days
« on: October 15, 2009, 21:40:24 PM »
Hi Everyone, just a little note to keep you all informed.

During the summer I had issues with excessively high electricity bills and many responded with good advice, decided to change to a new meter and convert to 3 tarrif.

Result -  first bill recieved 34 ytl for 2 weeks, very happy as we were paying x3 this amount. Electricity company confirmed meter was faulty, anyone got experience of getting our money back from the electricity company, (or is this now lost) i believe we have had this problem for 15 months.

Thks all again for your helpful advice,  Lakers

I sympathyse Lakers, I have had a meter replaced a couple of years ago and was told that you dont claim your money back its tough. How true that is I dont know.
I have 2 bills from this year where our villa should have used no electricity other than a fridge and a pool pump running for a couple of hours a day they came to £67. I hope to sort this out next week.
