Furnishing my new apartment- any tips?

I went to Ikea in Istanbul on Friday and I would highly recommend a trip to one of the stores - Antalya has nearest branch.

Not everything they have in stock is in the catalogue or on their web site.

Shop around in all the little local shops and the Tuesday market for accessories for the fun and experience...

I think you will find that the Ikea store in Antalya is no longer there, it closed down.Izmir is the nearest store.

Woody, you are making me nervous, I thought I would be safe on a first floor property, but good advice, I will look into it!
