There was a post on another forum about this text & it said it was possibly a scam & you may loose lots of kontours.

So does anyone know if it is genuine or another dump out of the rumour machine?

I posted the warning on another forum about the possibility of the message being a scam.

There are a number of ways in which scammers can steal Kontors from mobile phones. One of them is to set-up a transfer of Kontors from your mobile to theirs or a fellow scammer's. You'll receive a message, and if you reply Yes / Evet to it you'll later discover that you have agreed to a number of your Kontors being transferred to another account.

Whether or not the message about texts in English is genuinely from Turkcell is questionable at the moment. Whether or not you choose to reply to it is entirely up to you.  :)

WARNING.......I have been in touch with Turkcell and received an email from them which confirms "THIS IS NOT GENUINE we are still working on being able to send the messages in English"  So do not fall for this scam:(
