Judith - if you type "weather in April" in the Search facility you will get two pages relating to this subject.

Hope this helps.

Hi Judith we have been to Calis at that time of the year and it was quite nice, a little bit of a mixture and a little chilly at night but probably so much nicer then the UK, apart from that April we had a few years ago in the UK which was unbelievaby lovely, think it was about three years ago now.

I remember that April, Karen.  We went to Spain (looking at properties) for a week or so over Easter.  It poured down (big time!)  for most of the time we were away.  :(

On Easter Sunday, we had to ring the UK to speak to the owners of the apartment we were renting, as we had some electrical problems.  We were sheltering in a restaurant, and couldn't leave, because the rain was so heavy.  They were out in their garden in shorts, with their kids in a paddling pool!!   :o

Life is so unfair sometimes!!   :-\

Judith, we've also had some gorgeous weather in Calis in April, though, as Karen said, it does go off chilly in the evenings.   :)

Hi Judith
You wont need your thermals defo not. it wont be like December, although we did not find December this year as cold as previous December's as another member said it is a gorgeous time of year wild poppies growing everywhere lovely sun in the day and could be chilly at night. Enjoy!
