My workmate says it was 50+ today in Ovacik. Could it really have been that hot?

If they are speaking about in direct sun thats probably correct.
I saw over 50 in Fethiye in February.

You can tell when it gets above 50 in Ovacik. All the tarmac is down in Tasyaka

I was workng in Blairgowrie, Scotland to day. We parked up in full sun for around 10 mins and by the time we got back to the car the temp was showing 31c. It was great I wish I had been off today.

Oh Heather, I'm burnt to a frazzle too today and I only sat out from 4.30- 6.30pm! Was working in Lochgilphead today and stuck indoors til mid afternoon. 26degs showing in car on way home.....lovely, not that 50+ lark. I'd pass out!

It's supposed to get a bit cooler next week, fly out at 12 today, can't wait! Have been awake since 4am!

Looking out my window today is not good. May as well work.

We decided yesterday that if it is hot we should have the day off. How much could it cost? Not much judging from last year:(
