Turkish TV in UK?

I was toying with the idea of trying to find out if there is a way to get Turkish TV here in the UK, I was going to do it as a surprise for Xmas for my hubby, anyone know whether its possible?  costs etc

You could get Digiturk in the UK with a smallish dish (around 1m?) but it is encrypted so you'd need to subscribe in Turkey and bring the box/card over I think.

Might be an idea to leave leafy East Grinstead and shop around the Turkish community in North London. Am sure that someone will know a much cheaper option or try Googling one of the local papers in the local community . Nice idea for a Christmas pressie - good luck ! If you do venture northward do try to avoid any obvious queues - the long one is for the chip shop annd the short one for Spurs !

Yes but don't forget it isn't just Turkish programmes for your hubby, you can watch BBC Prime too!!! Oh, the memories...

Hi Janice  if your based in sussex iam back in the uk on the 27th dec for a couple of weeks work i can do a system on turk sat for 150-00 GBP providing its a standard install if its Lig tv your be after you can get your card sent to you from here nod nod wink wink you can get hold of me through my profile
