Cat 3 for me too but not for the reasons Scunner has said - too many Brits for me.  I love Turkey and my perfect place is Gündogan on the Bodrum peninsula.  Still very Turkish but with a good mix of other nationalities probably like Calis was about 15 years ago.

My first visit was last May, and my hubby and i loved it at first site. 9 weeks and counting till we will be back.

Our first visit to Calis was 8 years ago to the Hotel Mutlu. We made good friends that first year who like us are smitten with the place and return year after year.We also went to Goldcity in Alanya last year but it held no attraction for a return visit so the whole family is returning to Calis again in July - even our grown-up kids have decided to come back with us. Change of hotel though to the Oykun this time. I can see the sun on the water now - bliss!
