If you drive through Ciftlik village going West,( away from Calis), about maybe 1 kilometre after the village, there is a sign on the right that says; "MUSEE", turn there, and just follow the road.
It is well worth going, not just for the museum, ( which is mostly concerned with old-time farming/village life), but also for the fantastic traditional food offered in the restaurant. :P

Take the road opposite mellissas supermarket go straight up the hill to the top road turn left follow the small river all the way along and the resturant museum is on your right hand side. The breakfast is great and the views from the top resturant are fantastic if your lucky you may get offered a fig marinated with alcohol. There over 1000 farm tools on display plus some old horse drawn caravans its worth a visit.

Believe me, it is quite a long walk!! By the way, that is the road where we came across the chameleon, a few years ago, keep yours eyes open, as there are quite a few around there, all absolutely harmless, I can assure you.
(Search chameleon on here, and you can see him!!)
Gordy.

Second everything everybody has said on this topic. Really interesting place, great views, wonderful hospitality and the best breakfast we have had in Turkey. The owner has tried to explain to me where there is pool and waterfall not far from there, in the mountains but we have never found it, Anybody able give directions to it from the museum. Thanks.
