can any one tell me how to stop the buffering on my laptop when on iplayer please

1st thought: Faster internet connnection needed by the sound of it.

The cheapest things should be tried first - if possible, get a cable and connect directly to your modem/router rather than watch using wireless. If that is not better, try Supacabby's advice - speak to TTnet or whoever your provider is about a faster service. Also be careful that if you use a lot of streaming from iPlayer and the like that your broadband package is not capped - you need unlimited really because if you only have a certain amount of usage each month before you start getting charged more for going over, you will probably go over easily.
