After releasing it as an app for the ipad they have now done the same for the iphone.

Just git it and it works fine - not sure you will get it in Turkey though but worth a try.

I don't understand this - I read elsewhere that it is now available for iphone, which I downloaded the other day, but I have always had iplayer on my iphone - so I am confused. The new version works on 3G for the first time but I am sure it isn't the first time iplayer has been on it??

I also have it from a previous download but it was a hacked version called myijump.com/bbciplayer. It did work but was a beast to navigate. This new one is the official version and works on 3g as you said.

I've kept the hacked version as it might work abroad. Time will tell.
