You will need to jailbreak it to get all the channels etc. My lad is going to send me a guide on how to do it. Once done I'll let you know how easy/hard it is.

Just awaiting delivery .. but I have cheated and ordered one from ebay with it already jail broken and loaded with goodies. He's put the price up since I bought mine but he took an offer of £115 - which is about £15 more than Apple charge for the unit alone. My son reckoned £15 was a good price to pay for all the goodies he installs as he said it would take me the best part of a day to do it myself.

This guys does the same but his feedback isn't quite so good:

Hi Stoop, are you in the uk or Turkey? Let me know how it go's.
I have mine waiting in the uk, I go back in 2 weeks and will pick it up then.
From all reports it sounds good.

Why do you need to Jailbreak the Apple unit when it will be working via a VPN?

Rimms - if you jailbreak it then you can add lots of other things to the box. Flashsports for example is one that you can only watch on a jail-broken box. This then lets you have lots of the main Sky sports channels as well as some others such as Fox sports and Sky Movies 1 & 2.

It does work and the streams are very good. There is no waiting for them to appear - you are just straight onto the channel you choose.
