Next Wednesday. March 14th, there will be a Turkish lawyer and a high ranking Fethiye Police official at FiGs Coffee morning. They are coming to try to answer any questions you may have regarding the law here and what you should do if you need help.

Or can someone be murdered and the case be swept under the carpet?

a Turkish friend told me you can kill a burglar if theyre in your bedroom so you should kill them anyway and drag them into the bedroom afterwards!

What an excellent morning! Thank you Julie for organising this, I had not planned on attending but I am so pleased that I did. What's next?

On the down side - I know there were waffles, but waffles just are not the homemade cakes you all make so well, really missed them :(  :(

Thanks Joanna Many people were happy with the meeting, their were certainly a lot of questions people were asking and very varied, Wills, Driving Licenses, were just a couple of things covered and I thought the advise on Property buying was excellent, pity people dont seek that before they buy,  It was also nice to see the customs officer clearing up the 90 out of 100 day visa thing, it seemed as clear as mud to me before :D

Homemade cakes next week, :) but while Elspeth is in Fethiye she makes waffles every other week , for us that are there every week it makes a nice change and also we are desperate for more people to bake for us as we are so busy we cant meet the supply and demand sometimes!
