Bought my husband both sets.  Father Ted about 10 years ago which he took to Denmark to watch and Still Game at Christmas.  They seem to span the generations, as my son just loves Still Game and has watched the whole set now.

Thanks for the info.  For these winter nights when we have power cuts, I think this would be the business.  Will record Mrs Brown's Boys - always good for a real belly laugh.

I have known people to bring a well wrapped 23" LCD telly in their luggage without any problems at Dalaman.

DSmart only good now with extra packages.  Free English speaking channels only E2 and CNBCE

Meant when there are thunderstorms and we have no signal or the picture is 'breaking up' for hours on end!!

From the replies, I guess that unless you have either a good broadband connection, or a large dish, there is no decent TV in Turkey?
