Wow. Looks stunning. Agree with you Des and Loz, about Calis looking dated. The Beledesi in Calis really do need to invest money into Calis to help with encouraging visitors into the area. One of the problems with 'improvements' in and around the Calis area, are that they appear to do the 'improvements' when the tourists are there and not before the season starts!

Was nothing like this when I cycled into town 10 days ago.WOW!Cant wait to return on the 22nd and see the finished result.

Hope you are right about the bars Gordon, Selma at Melodi deserves it, good bar, good food, homemade fish cakes mmmm, and the best Menemen I have tasted

If you think Calis is getting dated, run down etc., and a bit boring, then you ought to live here in Grantham!  It makes Calis look like paradise.

It certainly looks like its going to be lovely when its finished.  But I wonder how long the water features will function.  It seems to be a 'thing' both here, and in the UK, to have these things, then not have water in them.
