Revolution
« on: October 01, 2012, 14:18:22 PM »
I uege all to join a revolution to overthrow our useless Government and turn Palace of Westminster into a Museum or saomething. Disband the current system entirely and set a new system whereby MP's have a salary cap at £100k and pay all their own expenses and have a contributary pension scheme of 10% of salary.

Latest pension move is a joke, lets say you have worked all your life and finally got to a position where you are paying 40% tax, now they want you to pay 8% toward a pension, (48%) but they are not dropping NHI from 10% -- whcih was supposed to pay for a pension as well! (now we are up to 58%). On top of this 58% there is 20% VAT -- which means on some things you are effectively taxed at 78%! So, why
do we pay all this? So MP's can vote huge pay rises and expenses for themselves? Waste Billions of our money (particularly New Labour -- or was it new Thieves?).

I say blow them up, all of them, arrest me if you like but the boys from the Salford Popular front are coming! (Guido? Robert? are you still OK for first Monday in November??????)

Since the chap is over a century and a half old he can't be expected to be getting betterley. Unless of course that age is calculated using his alternative arithmetic.
