As I travelled from the airport to Fethiye on Saturday I was glad to see that all of the roadworks that plagued the route in the summer are now all complete. We now have nice wide roads with lots of opportunity to pass slow wagons etc.
We had a clear run, no traffic to speak of but it still seemed to take the same time to do the transfer and considering the road is new the standard of workmanship is crap. I have yet to see a smooth road in Turkey.
