When I had to send original birth & marriage certs to the UK for my pension I sent them by recorded delivery post (PTT) and requested they be returned the same way. I didn't have any problems.

If you really prefer to use a courier service then Aras cargo are linked with DHL so they may be your best bet.

As LeeGlo says the PTT recorded and signed for service is cheap and efficient; 7-10 days for delivery to the UK.

Definitely get anything being posted to Turkey sent as a recorded delivery/signed for. Takes about 2-3 weeks in my experience for it to arrive here.

The service from Turkey to the UK is far faster than UK to Turkey. We always used the PTT's Signed For service. Never had any problems with it.
