Should you get bitten when your out at night ask one of the waitors from any restaurant and they will give you a slice of fresh lemon to dab on the affected area.
Keith please take note this info was  not meant for you!!

dont forget there is also the Listerene method, we have decanted some into a spray bottle and always spray the balcony with it if we are sitting out of an evening (our balcony for some reason is  really bad for getting bitten on)we defo dont get as many bites if we have done this and also used some form of mossie repellant as well, for some reason it has to be Listerene though and not another brand of mouthwash  :)

If you kept your bum crack in your trousers you wouldn't get bitten - or are you a plumber?  If so, you are excused.

Something else that helps me is to eat a teaspoon full of marmite every day - two weeks prior to going on hol.

No scientific proof but it seems to work for me.

We just put the Air Con on, and we have plug-in's that emit a high pitched noise that the mozzies don't like.
Simkov contains Deet as do the room sprays.  Personally, I don't want it absorbed into my skin and I don't want to inhale it either.  Have to say, touch wood, we have never been bothered with mozzies in the house, but we do have screens on all the windows.
