Maybe just a rumour, but word on the street says its being piped over to UK owing to heat/standpipe concerns  ;)

Over the 6 years we lived year it was either. No water. Power cuts that got worse and more frequent over the years.. Last Winter it was often nearly every day one or the other and don't even get me started on the internet.. Some weeks we were lulled into a false sense of security thinking ooh all OK then oops electric off just for 2 seconds but enough to have to reset all the tv stations... air cons etc.. It was "quaint" at one time but got more and more frustrating as time went on... The UK isn't perfect by any means but constant water. Electric and internet is great for us.. I am sorry that people are still having to put up with all the problems after all these years nothing seems to have improved...

Our pressure in Gunlukbasi has been very low overnight and flow down to a trickle. However now it is better than ever   :)
