Worying times????

It's great that the new square is being used for concerts and the like but, last night? It was horrendous!!!!! Turns out it was a political event with some guy screaming about a jihad and something about yabanci's!!! Worrying times indeed!!!!

That's free speech for you I guess - not the sort of thing for a sleepy backwater holiday area in my opinion though. Sadly nothing surprises me anymore over there.

I suspect it was about the current situation in Syria and the Governments apparent willingness to join in with The USA.

There are radical elements in all countries Ian. They have their moments and the rest of the populace ignore them.

 I wouldn't worry too much about it. Unless, he had a hook instead of a hand and wore an eye-patch.

Well, as somebody who is gay (but not an activist!!) I was not at all comfortable with the tone of the whole evening!! In fact, very intimidating!!!
