Visit by Prime Minister
« on: November 28, 2013, 17:20:46 PM »
I have heard that Erdogan will visit Fethiye next sunday, 1st December, also Mugla and Marmaris on the Saturday. If so, security will be very tight, so expect lots of congestion in town!

An opportunity for him and AKP to take advantage of the MHP/ Mayor debacle. The MHP have given another example of opposition parties inability to deny AKP election victories.

In reply to Lissa-

If he did, it wouldn't be the first time an Erdogan visit to a seaside tourist resort was following by mass bulldozing of hotels, bars and restaurants. But I have only heard of this happening in non-AKP municipalities. Of course, all of these missing facilities will have to be replaced by new planning-approved schemes. I wonder if any AKP supporters will be awarded any of these? What do you think?
