Mavi Kelebek OK yes ! Blue Butterfly!
« on: August 30, 2014, 16:16:39 PM »
We appreciate there is a post dating back to march this brings it up to date for summer lovers of the area !

Not a fully blown Restaurant as such but the limited menu is good and always freshly homel made ! The meze for us is the star for however many guests you may take ! Its fresh and  not usual run  of mill dishes ! Yes! owners have been in kaya for some time at a different location. Friendly and very helpful too. We understand it can be busy at night though all our visits have been daytime one of those places you feel part of just don't expect the earth and more. Its a great atmosfere serving good fresh food in a Turk Moroccan way.
Yes! From Hisaronu its more or less opposite the second new Cin Bal sign in one of the Old Kaya houses !

It is a fantastic place - beautiful views, lovely setting and the food is fabulous.
Dilek and Hamid are one of the nicest couples you could wish to meet.
Everything is cooked fresh to order so not the place to go if you are in a hurry; we're fortunate to have this as our local (along with Cinbal) and love to just go and chill out, so waiting a while for our food isn't a problem.

They are shut for a couple of days as Dilek's father is ill and she has gone to visit him but as far as I know they are hoping to open again tomorrow (Monday).

Thanks to Ovacik2 for the review on this lovely place.
It looked good to us, so we tried it.  It was brilliant.  Don't expect posh or cordon blue, just expect authentic, friendly, and food that is good.
We went twice during our stay, and will definitely go again next time we are out.
A small piece of real Turkey.
