Just booked September in Calis :)

Last trip to Calis was in 2015, which seems a really long time ago.
Booked 10 days early September, missed out on our preferred hotel, but booked Remer Hotel just back from the promenade, the hotel has very good reviews, so confident all will go well.

Questions 
Am I still okay to bring Sterling and exchange in the area?
How much is the water taxis now? When we went in 2015 there were a lot of talk about a price hike, just wondered if it evened out or kept going up.

I know nothing about the Remer Hotel so can't help there.

Definitely bring sterling with you and exchange here.

The water taxi is now 7.50 lira and in my opinion still worth every kurus. Have a great holiday

The water taxis are my guilty pleasure, I really do have a big grin all the way across.

Just thought if there were any recommendations for boats/captains for trips out of Fethiye?
We did have a bad trip before out of Fethiye and considered it a waste of a day..... And yes she blamed me

The water taxi from Calis to Fethiye  and vice versa is still a bargain which I never get bored of.  Love coming back at night too. You would pay a lot more than £1.70 for a similar experience in Spain that's for sure.

Totally and absolutely second Ali Kavak and the Yaren-E boat for your trip around Fethiye Bay, departing from Calis.

So relaxing and such unassuming hosts - Elvan, Ali's wife will prepare the best most delicious lunch with a minimum of 12 dishes to eat from.

Been on so many trips with Ali and Elvan I have lost count - enjoy!
