the mandarin tree doesn not need too much prune.if the brunches are
to much then you have to do that to make the tree get more sunshine
you can prune the tree in the middle of february.extra knowledge
you can fertilize the tree by a little amount of ammonium sulfate
at the end of january .if you say the age of the tree i can easily say how much you will use .

Ovaciksarah. I may be mistaken but I think that I saw a small range of gardening treatments in Azda in Hisaronu. Don't know if they had potassium but they may have.I do know that compost made containing plenty of banana peel and also fine wood ash will contain potassium.

Hi all you gardeners out there!
Now I know this is a random question, but does anybody know what the gorgeous smelling shrubs are called that they have mostly outside hotels? Somebody said they are called hibiscus? I can't even describe them, because I can never tell where the smell is coming from? I used to smell it every time I walked past Dawn Beach hotel.
Told you it was a random question! :D
-
I think you'll find that the smell is coming from a bush called Melissa. Easily available at most garden centres. A very insignificant flower for such a lovely smell.
-
Yes, probably Melissa, which is a member of the mint family. Very unlikely to be hibiscus.
-
Does anyone know what the yellow trees which grow in Migros car park are called in Turkish?
I have a green plant growing in the garden which leaves a lovely lemony smell on you hands when you touch it.Anyone know what that is?
-
Thanks all, are these Melissa plants only available in Turkey?
-
Lemon Scented Geranium ?
Have you got a picture of it ?
-
I do not know how to put photos on the computer!! :)It does not have a flower on it, the leaves are crinkly.I put it in the back of the car when bringing it from the garden centre on the way back from Zolar and the car smelt lovely.
-
It definitely sounds like lemon scented geranium and it does have a very small pinkish but insignificant flower on it in the summer.

Better late than never, Chrissie ;):D:D
