I have been given to understand that foreigners owning houses here and not living in them for more than 6 months have to pay three times as much. Anybody have any info on this?

I have never heard of this. If I lived there for more than six months and paid 3 times less they'd nearly be paying me.

Me neither. I have heard that pool owners pay more for their water in Uzumlu but surely if you are there less you should pay less council tax - not more??
