Agreed, but wasn't it a newbie's impression of Uzumlu? Raw impressions are often interesting, the rest of us are biased about our place of choice  

I can't put in place a rule that stops newbies having opinions, where would that leave us?

I still don't think it right to call someone you don't know 'a horrible woman'! Would you not get upset if you were called 'a horrible man'?  Be honest! PS ... Sorry, I am not supposed to argue with you .... forgot!

I would think Uzumlu is like any place in the world where there are a bunch of retirees - too many people with too much time on their hands and nothing much to do. C'est la vie!

I would not get upset if someone called me a 'horrible man'. I would of course prefer to hear it from the person themselves, rather than them peddling around town to anyone bored enough to listen.

I take your various points, but it was a personal view on an unnamed individual, based on a factual set of circumstances, and it was that individual who broadcast the fact that it was her being spoken about!

If I was in a bar and overheard someone telling people they murdered someone, I doubt that I am guilty of much if I told others factually what I had heard "from the horse's mouth". If that person then says "That was me who said that" on a public forum, there is no point in accusing me of calling them a murderer!
