Most chemists do them Rinda or may I call you loo.
I have one done every couple of years.

I had a really bad dose of the flu last year and as I have been diagnosed recently with diabetes I have been offered one.

Is there any side effect with them?

You can call me 'Loo' if you so desire, a bit formal methinks, LOL.  Will look into it (the pharmacy, not the loo), thanks 'Less'  ;)

Heather, I had a jab each year for 7 years, I did feel bad after one of them but maybe I was already going down with something when I had it done.

A flu jab should not give you any side effects, but sometimes they do if you are allergic to it.... but within ten minutes of the injection.   That is why they ask you to sit down for a while after administration.

No, I went down with a bad cold.  But as I say, I might have already started with it when I had the jab.  -Coincidence.

If you're REALLY frightened of needles, then yes it'll look big, LOL!  I recon you should adopt a looking out of the window pose and count passing cars.  You might get a sweetie after.
