No, not a pessimist Eric, just someone who has lived here for some time and finds it ridiculous that in 2008 we have to put up with such service - no water, brown water, some electric, no electric (there's a storm!) and for God's sake, how long does it take to lay some paving tiles in the Centre?

If you were a Turkish national living in the UK and complaining like that, people like you would tell you to p*** off if you don't like it.

You live up a mountain in Turkey, where a few years ago there were no houses, things weren't going to be perfect. I'm surprised you didn't know that when you bought there, you sound like you know everything else.
