Sunday roast at the Camlik
« on: December 14, 2008, 14:13:46 PM »
Just back from the Camlik who have just started Sunday roasts. Todays was roast beef with yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, veg etc with apple tart or apple crumble as dessert.
It was fantastic so may congratulations to the new chef as his yorkshires were spot on perfect and it was fillet of beef which melted in our mouths.
The crumble was fabulous and all for 16 ytl.
Will certainly be going back again as it beats cooking your own.
Well done Alec & staff.
Fi & Eric

Also just returned, was very pleasantly surprised at a very good Sunday roast. The Yorkshires were as good as Aunt Bessies. The desert was perfect, we had the apple crumble, with either cream or ice-cream. Would agree with Fi that we will certainly go again, if only for me to miss out on the washing up. Well done Chef. Keep it up. Phill & Kay

Surely to get the thumbs up the yorkshires need to be better that Aunt Bessies. You can't beat proper yorkshire puddings not those crispy bits of frozen air.. ;)
