Post by: Linda1953 on May 03, 2008, 08:47:54 AM
Still dont know where to put my techno questions so Ive shoved it in here.

If you copy a CD is there a way you prevent someone from re-copying the same CD??

Another question?

I want to be able to send some tracks from a CD to someone in the UK - is this possible to do from media player or do you have to download something else to do this??

Crabbit is correct, in regards to your other question. The only possible way is to encrypt the data with encryption software.

yes you can use media player and no you can't stop anyone  copying it the software is expensive and you could get around it anyway.

You can`t stop anybody copying any CD, DVD or Software, but it is still illegal, unless of course you own said discs and the copy is for your own use.

Save the CD to My Music or wherever.

Go on MSN Chat and choose Send a single file option when they're on line and send the track.

Use Pando and send the file that way. You & they have to join but it's free.

You can copy a CD and then use one of the following tools to copy protect it:

CCD-Lock
CD-Protector
CloneAudioProtector
Easy Audio Lock
FreeLock
TZCopyprotection
WinLock
WTM CD Protect

Look them up on Google

I would imagine that any "copy-protection" software you can buy won't be very effective. Let's face it, the major players can't stop their wares being copied, so what chance will you have!!??
