Title: Turkish driving licence
Post by: Jim Fraser on February 21, 2012, 19:33:37 PM
A few years ago DiverBaz did a brilliant blow by blow description of how to go about getting a Turkish driving licence, has anyone done this recently and was there any changes to the procedure or what was required.

Why would you need one? using UK license here for 20 years now and not a problem with police or insurance companies.

I'll say it yet again starman, some people, me included, have not now got a valid UK license, as we have no UK address to renew it to. Therefore I have a Turkish license, so in the event I want to drive on a return to the UK, I can. Completely legal, no trumped up pretend friends address, like some people.

Is that a pretend address or a pretend friend Baz - neither would work  ;)

Thanks to Baz for his earlier advice, we collected our Turkish driving licences yesterday.
