Post by: Highlander on November 25, 2013, 18:07:32 PM
How in heavens name can anyone be expected to come to a reasoned opinion on HS2 when there are that number of pages to wade through.

And just how much did the Government pay to have that document produced

It doesn't seem fair - all the Brummies will be able to get to our glorious and exciting capital in no time, but Londoners using it will end up in Birmingham.

I will be able to get to London from Sheffield 30 mins earlier than now with HS2.

I might not be able to afford the fare, but I'll get there quicker.

As everything else has to go to London, that's where they should
drop off the invoice for this pantomime.
As Brum has already taken in it's fair share of non-brummies we
certainly don't want funny sounding Londoners added to the list.
( that goes for the scot's too)

H,  I've finished with my copy of the report if you want it.
Interesting reading.       :)

It's one of those things we should have. It's a bit akin to the Chunnel, the forth bridge, the Manchester trams, the space stationand a garlic crusher.
None are really necessary, but once you have them, you wondered how you managed without !

fully armed and able to derail these plans! Their fearsome leader --- Owamya Bin Keepin is
already planning the attack!
