Title: Monarch flight changes !!

Just received information from Monarch that our outgoing flight to Dalaman in August as been cancelled but we have been offered an alternative flight.There website have now removed some of there flights .....

Thats a shame, but I'd say not entirely unexpected given the doubts many folks have over travelling to Turkey.

Even those who are happy to go to Turkey are going to be up against it, and put off, this year as the airlines cancel or rearrange flights.

 We are not surprised at the flight change it is of no inconvenience to us in fact it gives us another extra half day ;-)

Got an e-mail from Monarch yesterday changing our flight in Sept,but like Patrice it gives us an extra half day in Calis.
However in the e-mail they forgot to mention that they had also changed our seat numbers that we had reserved. :(

Must admit we are expecting ours to be changed too. Not so bad for us retirees but we have booked daytime fights for the first time for a few years so will be a bit disappointed is we end up with late flights but hey - after our home trek with Emirates this week I think we can handle anything.

Received another email yesterday  with change of seating but the the seat are fine but when checking I observed that there are only 10 other seats reserved !!!

Yes ,they refunded our seat reservation cost,and we have only moved from row 8 to row 12  :)
