Devastated, so horribly sad, what a year this has been. :( :'(

Unbelievable year. So many people that touched so many lives gone.

Huge talent and fortune, but seemed to live a tormented life. At peace now. What a shocking year
RIP George.

Just watching T.V and hearing George was great at giving. He used to visit hospitals and cheer up patients and also apparently, he was watching T.V one day and a woman was Deal or no deal saying she needed to raise £15,000 for IVF. George picked up the phone and arranged for her to have the money. Lovely to hear that about it.
I remember playing one of his albums over and over in my car. I loved his music. R.I.P.

Another shocking, terribly sad, piece of news. Not really my era but I did enjoy a lot of the music of both Wham and George's solo career.
RIP George :(

Terribly sad, another ousted and hounded by the gutter press for all the wrong reason, George has had his demons but pleased to see that he is being recognised now for the philanthropist that he was, always appeared to be a true gent, but sadly misunderstood. X

Me too gutted totally loved George's music Careless Whisper and Wake me up before you go go reminds me of my youth and a girly holiday to Benidorm my first trip abroad, we had our own version of wake me up! Very pleased to hear that folk are hearing about the good George did as Markar said another hounded by the gutter press.
He as also a great sport my son and I were only watching the clip of him in Little Britain the other day with Andy and Lou where Andy wants him at a restaurant for his birthday and when he turns up he says his classic "dont like him I want ( forget who he wants instead!) and he was a great sport in Extras too...
R.i.p lovely George...

Totally agree Karenina, I was fortunate enough to see him live a few times, I shed a little tear when watching a tribute to him on tv, don't really know why it just seems so sad x
