Title: Sky tv & Gunlukbasi area
Post by: garyncharlie on October 14, 2005, 18:47:48 PM: I have just purchased a property in Gunlukbasi and find all the help and advice on this site really helpful.
I am all new to this and would welcome any advice anyone could give me.
I really would like Sky installed and wonder what is required for this?

Post by: Scunner on October 14, 2005, 19:26:34 PM: 1.5m will get Sky Sports perfectly. It is good because these are fairly cheap and readily available in Fethiye.

A 3m dish will get BBC1 and ITV most times, but will cost just over £1,000.

1.5m also gets Sky News, Ch4, Ch5, several UKTV channels and a spattering of others. Sky Movies, should anyone be interested, are perfect on 1.5m too.

Post by: Scunner on October 14, 2005, 19:35:46 PM: You need either a paired card with its paired box or just bring a box and you can arrange a card via a third party seller with ease. In either case, the card will be a genuine/standard sky card, not a programmed fake or anything of the like.

would i have to get a dish if i had a box .
I was told a couple of prices £100-£200 any idea what price they are.

I haven't been to check out the package yet but it includes the dish, box and fitting. I think it is the basic package with Eurosport, BBC primetime, news channels etc.
