Remer or Letoon?
« on: August 26, 2009, 10:04:00 AM »
Recommendations needed!
Both work out at £250 bed and breakfast inc transfers.
Is Letoon a long walk from restaurants, as I will be on my own and reading the stories about the unfortunate people who have been assaulted recently, I am a bit wary.
Also, the Remer, how long to walk from the bridge? Not frightened of walking, just can't place where it is?
Getting tummy bumps thinking of hols!
Didn't get this when I boooked my BIG mistake hol to Spain in July! Never again!
Thanks all!  :)

The Restaurants start after about 4 or 5 minutes walk, and there are even a couple before then. The Letoon has a superb view of the Sunsets.

The Letoon is right on the prominade but right up the end and I always find it a little bit dark at night up that end of the prom.   The Remur is just behind the ice cream parlour and therefore just a minute or so from the prom and more in the mix of bars and restaurants.  It is also right on the main bus route and the bus virtually stops outside which would be quite handy at night.   I haven't actually stayed at either of the hotels but they both look nice.
