Just had a call from a firm of solicitors acting for digiturk. They are now demanding 165TL,(at first she said 1065TL but that may have been lost in translation) saying that this is an outstanding fee.I have received no written communication from digiturk or the solicitors.
I paid on 16th January 2009 the sum of 507TL for the complete years subscription. I cancelled digiturk at the beginning of Jan 2010, but was told I could not send the box back until the beginning of Feb as you have to give 1 months notice. Was I given misinformation that if you pay 1 year in advance you receive 1 extra month free?
I spoke to someone in customer service in November when this saga started and was told that there was nothing on the system to say that there were outstanding monies owed. Now it appears that I did owe money, or so they say!!
