Quite right John and thanks for the reminder, what was I thinking? All email requests will be politely declined. The book will not be freely available for some time yet (when the DRM expires)so I'll put it on the list then.

Apologies to the Author.  :)

I bought it and downloaded it to my Kindle application on my computer, I think I have to wait until the summer until someone brings me an actual  kindle out!
But I sat at my desktop for a day and read the book and thought it was brilliant, funny and easy to relate to too

Hope its a best seller for next summer! It deserves to be,

Just read this , so enjoyable! Laugh out loud funny and touching in parts too! Some very likeable and some not so likeable characters that we can all recognise! Loved the acronyms  'VOMIT'- Victim of men in turkey and MAD ' my Ahmed's different' plus some of the ex pat characters. One who particularly resonated when our friends who we were having brekky in the Eroz were talked at by one for half an hour about how dreadful the UK is now with all the immigrants- failing to see the irony of them living in Turkey- however having tucked into a full english brekky said that he shouldnt really eat that as he has to go back to the UK 4 times a year for heart surgery- all on the NHS no doubt! Anyway the book is fab well worth a read!

I just finished it and there was a lot in it I could relate to.  Jack's book has humour and sharp observations of expat life.  I think it a good, light read

Read the book and enjoyed some of it, however, became bored towards the end.   I have a hard copy if anybody interested.
