Flu Jab
« on: October 11, 2012, 12:50:11 PM »
Just been into Fethiye this morning, had a flu jab done in the chemist opposite Migros - 10TL. Also stocked up with a host of remedies to see me through the winter months whilst away at work, extremley helpful staff and very good prices.

I knew the MPs had business interests in the NHS but not Wayne Rooney, shown bottom row far right side.

How unlucky - nothing to do with the jab though as it's not a live vaccine. It's a myth it can give you the flu.

As it says in this article - if you don't think you are dying then it's probably not flu you have but a bad cold:

It worth every penny of the £10.00 charged in the U.K. for this service as Flu and a bad cold are so different.
If you are eligible to get it free even better, but IMO  it's far better to be protected against flu before the Winter comes on .   I seem to remember one year a very bad outbreak of Flu and everyone clamouring to get injections and stocks where really low.
